Shooters Waterfront
3033 NE 32nd Ave., Fort Lauderdale
The Shooters Doggie Menu was crafted by Meals for Dogs in Fort Lauderdale. There’s the Bahia Beef pup-perfected with USDA ground beef, whole wheat macaroni, butternut squash, organic carrots, apples, kale, organic pumpkin seed oil, organic hemp oil and a blend of essential vitamins and minerals. A healthy doggie day out! Prices range from $8 to $14 for savory meals carefully prepared for man’s best friend (they’re promoted as “veterinary-approved”).
The Lincoln Eatery
723 Lincoln Lane N., Miami Beach
Necessary Purveyor, located inside The Lincoln Eatery food hall, features a pet-friendly patio and sells homemade dog jerky. While you’re there, enjoy menu highlights such as the Green Forager or The Shepherd. Also at The Lincoln Eatery, XO Espresso Bar is offering a complimentary Puppuccino when you bring your pooch with you on your coffee run.
Cielito Artisan Pops
2750 NW Third Ave., Wynwood
Nothing like a delicious ice pop on a hot day! At Cielito Artisan Pops in Wynwood, you can get an ice pop for you and one for the dog. Their doggy popsicles are made with fresh fruits and sweetened with honey. Yum.
Lokal
3190 Commodore Plaza, Coconut Grove
LoKal lives up to its name by being a gathering spot for locals and their furry friends. The Doggy Menu offers pups the chance to indulge in the Chichi Get The Meatloaf, made with homemade meatloaf, egg and tomato puree; and the Yeyo’s Chicken & Rice, prepared with grilled Florida chicken, brown rice, carrots, and peas. Your BFF can wash this down with a $5 Bowser Beer, a non-alcoholic doggie beer served over ice.
Kush Wynwood & Kush Coconut Grove
2003 North Miami Ave., Wynwood / 2911 Grand Ave., Coconut Grove
The sister restaurant to Lokal, Kush Wynwood is a pet-friendly dining destination and it has a table outside with Fido’s name all over it. Order dishes for your dog like Chichi’s Chicken & Rice, that is made with grilled chicken, brown rice, carrots, and peas.
Kush Coconut Grove is a quiet oasis amidst Coconut Grove’s nearby pedestrian flurry. Breezy, outdoor seating is good for people and their pets—there’s even a sparkling fountain making this idyllic setting perfect for enjoying a working lunch, lazy afternoon, or romantic dinner with your pup, pal, or partner. The Dog Menu available outdoors only offers $6 dishes including Chicken & Rice, Meatballs, and Cuban chew-gars that your pup will love.
Lona Cocina & Tequileria
321 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale
Lona’s expansive oceanside veranda and newly constructed Tequila Terrace offer two open-air, pet-friendly dining locations with pet perks including water bowls and treats. On the last Thursday of each month, treat your pooch to a tail wagging time at Lona’s Tequila Terrace, when the restaurant hosts its Tail Waggin’ Terrace event, a lively al fresco *yappy hour* from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The monthly series, which is free to attend and open to the public, features doggie playdates, music, treats, and complimentary “puptails” along with themed libations for the humans.
