How to make time for workouts while traveling
It's hard to feel healthy when you're constantly eating out, indulging and just generally hanging around or sightseeing. But here are some pointers for getting those workouts in while you're away.
Staying healthy/fit on the road can be hard and by no means am I a shining example of how to do it right, but I do have a couple tips/tricks for weeks and months that are more hectic than others.
April for me has been city to city, plane to Lyft to hotel to Lyft to… train maybe? We’re a couple weeks in and I’m just getting the hang of things, so here are some pointers I have (feel free to chime in in the comments, send me a DM or an email and tell me what works for you).
Check out your hotel gym
Most hotels have them, even though sometimes they’re small and dark. I’ve found hotel gyms are often an afterthought and can be located on a floor like the basement with no windows. I have gotten to check out some hotel gyms with views, though, and I promise it makes the experience so much more pleasant. A few hotel gyms I’ve enjoyed doing some cardio in:
